These three lovely ladies were lost in downtown San Antonio, and stopped me as I was leaving the Radius Gallery to ask for directions. Rather than have to explain how to get back to their hotel, I gave them a ride. They were visting from the Irving ISD. In return I asked if they would let me take their photo for my 100 strangers project, and they were happy to pose for me. They called me their angel.
"Life is good!"
They are strangers #48 for my 100 strangers project.

Okay. Note the clothing of the parents - that was because it was COLD outside. See how everyone is wearing sweatshirts and jackets? Yeah. Now can you see those little heads in the water? Those are the kids. They've been out swimming all weekend, the lot of them. It's the Unschooling Polar Bear Club, it is. Granted, the pool is heated, but STILL. They have to get out at some point, right?
I'm lovin' the whole "Life Is Good" product line. Here's a perfectly-timed look inside "Life Is Good: Simple Words From Jake & Rocket." Proceeds from the book sales go to the "Life Is Good Kids Foundation," which was established to help children facing unfortunate situations.

This evening was a bad day at the ice cream factory -- a series of small stupid things made me feel terrible. When I got home and told my stupid tale of stupid woe, Schnookie made the brilliant move of pouring glasses of Lillet for everyone to tipple while 2014's first grilling adventure went down. Happiness at the ice cream factory is restored! Thanks, alcohol!
