The aircraft carrier USS Lexington—now a museum ship in Corpus Christi, Texas—is illuminated by the rising sun over Corpus Christi Bay.
The other large former Hotel in Lexington, NY. It seems to be used by an art/theater group, so I won't tag this photo as abandoned.

This was taken from the Blue Lake Trail in the North Cascades National Park. I am pretty sure it is Lexington Tower. It is part of the structure between Liberty Bell and the Early Winters Spires. See the photo in comments.

Prop 8 Protest in Lexington
It was a nasty, cold, rainy day and there was still a huge turn out. It was nice to hear the car honks and cheers.
425 Lexington Avenue's flared crown and unusually tinted glass is a wild contrast to the Art Deco icon next door, the Chrysler Building.
I cant visit Lexington without shooting the old hotel. Looks like restoration work is being done, so I won't tag this one abandoned. Glad the old girl is being saved.
In the Fall of 2016, the Lexington Group ran an excursion over the Missabe from Duluth to Iron Jct and back, followed by a trip up the lake front to Two Harbors on the North Shore Scenic.
This church in Lexington sat empty for years before and after I first found it. An independent ministry now seems to be making use of it.

I was fortunate to travel to the East Coast with 8th graders for 18 years. We started in Boston and ended in Washington DC. I'm working on a book of images from our trips.
