Copper or Brass Racetrack Dining Table was designed for upscale eclectic homes, restaurants, cafes, brasseries, wine cellars, and bars. Constructed of heavy duty 18 gauge (43 mils) copper or brass sheet, this unique table can be made any size up to 96″ wide x 48″ deep, and any height up to 42″. In other words, this table can also be made as a high dining table. The sheet metal is stretched over a robust steel frame and lightly distressed and antiqued. Underside of the table top is coated with sound deadening material. Fancy rivet-head trim is available along the edge of the top by special order. It is perfect for use as a brass or copper restaurant table. Six polished bronze glides are provided which also serve as levelers – a useful feature to have when the floor is uneven. PREPARING A SEED BED WITH MODERN MACHINERY,
SOUTH DAKOTA
The first thing to be looked to on the farm is proper drainage. The next in order is the fertility of the soil. With these two requirements met, the actual cultivation of the land begins. Deep ploughing is essential for the proper rooting of the crops, and for their later cultivation. When the ground is plowed, or “broken up,” as it is called, the making of the seed bed follows.
A good seed bed, even in the loamiest ground, can be made only by cultivation. If the field has been in grass the year previous, the sod should be cut into bits. The best machine for this is the disc harrow. But the disc leaves the ground in ridges, and a seed bed should be smooth. The disc should be followed by a leveler. Some farmers use drags or floats, but drags should be used only where there is scant rainfall. Otherwise, heavy rains will pack the over-leveled surface so the young plants have difficulty in breaking through the surface crust. The best leveler is the toothed harrow.
This farmer is well equipped with tools. He has all the power he needs in his tractor. His disc will cut the soil several inches deep, and thoroughly pulverize it. The toothed harrow makes the surface level without packing it. The disc harrow is made up of sharp steel rotating discs that do their work by cutting. The toothed harrow is a steel frame with sharp spikes bolted to it. This harrow is merely dragged over the ground. Levers on it allow the teeth to be set to various slants that regulate the depth the teeth cut. The “tooth” harrow is made in sections. Three of these are here being used side by side. When ground has been worked in the manner shown, a good seed bed results. Whatever sown will grow rapidly.

The Monte Carlo Coffee Table was inspired by furnishings of the Art Deco period. Art Deco was an influential visual arts design style that first appeared in France just before World War I and began flourishing internationally from the 1920s thru the 40s. It was an eclectic style that combined traditional craft motifs with Machine Age imagery and materials. The style was often characterized by rich colors and bold geometric shapes. The Art Deco movement flourished during the interwar years when rapid industrialization was transforming culture. One of its major attributes was an embrace of technology. It has been defined as an assertively modern style that emphasizes symmetry rather than asymmetry. During its heyday, Art Deco represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress.

Inspired by furniture found in the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii, the Pompeian Cabinet was designed by Shah Gilani, ASFD, for upscale residential and hospitality interiors. It has two Melamine-lined drawers behind the doors which run smoothly on high quality drawer slides. There is one removable shelf in each compartment. The doors with metal lattice-work have high quality self-closing hinges. The door pulls and drawer pulls are hand-wrought polished bronze. July 1, 2018 - Goðafoss Waterfall known as "the waterfall of the gods" is located on the Skjálfandafljót river in the Bárðardalur district of the northeast region of Iceland. The waterfall got its name during year 999 or 1000 when Christianity was declared the official religion of Iceland. After that the local Lawspeker threw his statues of the Norse pagan gods into the waterfall. Hence the name ‘waterfall of gods’.
I bought a new tripod before the trip and hauled it to get great motion shots of waterfalls, however I forgot to turn my lens stabilization off so I wasn't happy with my resulting photographs. I also lost one of the leveler glides!

He is responsible for the designs of the early Renaissance, which laid the foundation for the way architecture would develop in the future. His most famous design is the the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore which was built in 1300. One of the objectives of the Renaissance was to reinvent the ingenuity of Greek and Roman art from 1500 years before. Brunelleschi traveled to Rome and meticulously studied Roman architecture. His designs broke away from the medieval traditions of pointed arches, vaulting, and the use of gold and mosaics. Instead, he used simple classical designs based on basic geometric shapes. His work and influence can be seen all over Florence. Award-winning designer, Shah Gilani, ASFD, was inspired by these architectural gems of Florence when he designed the Florentine Console. Berliner Four Drawer Chest was designed with the modern European lifestyle in view. Berlin is the creative workshop of Germany, a trendsetter and a capital of fashion, design, and music. The progressive spirit of optimism that engulfed the reunified city was – and still is – astounding. Hundreds of backyard art studios emerged from the shadows and art soon began to take over streets, the walls of buildings, and even entire districts. The Berliner Four Drawer Chest was designed by Shah Gilani, ASFD. Constructed of selected rosewood, this fine cabinet has Melamine-lined drawers which run on high quality drawer slides. All carving is entirely by hand. Four polished bronze glides are provided which also serve as levelers – a useful feature when the floor is uneven. The Berliner Four Drawer Chest makes an exceptional dresser for an upscale modern bedroom. It is offered in a variety of finishes and accents. Custom sizing is available.
