Letters and number found on the box my granddaughter brought along with some activity in it yesterday. Pastel lettering and number.

Frederiks Kirk (Frederik's Church), also known as Marmorkirken (The Marble Church) in Nyhavn the entertainment district in the centre of Copenhagen in Denmark.
The church was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in 1740 and was along with the rest of Frederiksstaden, a district of Copenhagen, intended to commemorate the 300 years jubilee of the first coronation of a member of the House of Oldenburg. Frederick's Church has the largest church dome in Scandinavia with a span of 31m. The dome rests on 12 columns. The inspiration was probably St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
The foundation stone was set by king Frederick V on October 31, 1749, but the construction was slowed by budget cuts and the death of Eigtved in 1754. In 1770, the original plans for the church were abandoned by Johann Friedrich Struensee. The church was left incomplete and, in spite of several initiatives to complete it, stood as a ruin for nearly 150 years.
In 1874, Andreas Frederik Krieger, Denmark's Finance Minister at the time, sold the ruins of the uncompleted church and the church square to Carl Frederik Tietgen for 100,000 Rigsdaler — none of which was to be paid in cash — on the condition that Tietgen would build a church in a style similar to the original plans and donate it to the state when complete, while in turn he acquired the rights to subdivide neighbouring plots for development.
The deal was at the time highly controversial. On 25 January 1877, a case was brought by the Folketing at the Rigsretten (Court of Impeachment ) Krieger being charged with corruption over this deal. He was, however, eventually acquitted.
Tietgen got Ferdinand Meldahl to design the church in its final form and financed its construction. Due to financial restrictions, the original plans for the church to be built almost entirely from marble were discarded, and instead Meldahl opted for construction to be done with limestone. The church was finally opened to the public on August 19, 1894.
Inscribed in gold lettering on the entablature of the front portico are the words: HERRENS ORD BLIVER EVINDELIG ("the word of the Lord endureth for ever"). A series of statues of prominent theologians and ecclesiastical figures, including one of the eminent Danish philosopher Kierkegaard (who, incidentally, had become very critical of the established church by the end of his life), encircles the grounds of the building.

Yesterday's 52R is stopped at Bishop to meet 376 and manages to get a bit of sun. The 8099 looks great after being washed and having the lettering touched up for some festivities at the Southeastern Railway Museum earlier in the week.
Contrary to the lettering on the support columns below, I’d have to agree with Luther Vandross, shooting freight engines on the passenger fly-over is “never too much, never too much, never too much…”
A trio of ET44C4s, led by BNSF 3698, spook pigeons from their roost while thundering across the fly-over heading for Metrolink’s Keller yard to retrieve a retired SCAX F59PHI at last light.
Cutout lettering at the bottom of a portable digital signboard, mounted on a trailer and left on a street corner. The message it is currently displaying is about COVID-19 safety, such as reminding people to wear masks.

The Tuscan red & gray paint scheme, with gold accents, rolled debuted on Canadian Pacific in 1949. About 10 years later, in 1960, a modified version of the paint scheme was released featuring script lettering on the long hood. Jump forward another 60 years, and CP decided to revive the paint scheme on 5 rebuilt SD70ACU's in 2019. They look very good.
CP 2816 and the Final Spike Tour needed an additional diesel due to issues with one of the FP9's on Rich Mountain, and to help with upcoming grades in Mexico. When the train arrived in Shreveport, someone noticed CP 7013 nearby and realized its paint fit in perfectly with the special. They gave it an impromptu bath and added it to the train. Freshly washed, that script lettering looks really nice.

K-28 #477 is reflected in a pond by the Colorado Trail crossing, as the 2-8-2 Mikado guides its train into Elk Park in the San Juan Mountains.
This photograph was captured during a photo shoot on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, organised by Trains Magazine. K-28 2-8-2 #473 had been re-numbered for the event to portray #477 with Rio Grande ‘speed lettering’ while working on the D&RGW.

Back in Buenos Aires City we walked Defensa in Barrio San Telmo to our hotel.
The camera stuck its lens out for a shot of Ristorante il Nonno Bachicha (Grandfather Bachicha Restaurant).
Like many businesses in BA, Ristorante il Nonno Bachicha advertises using Fileteado style painting on their signage, windows and doors. This offering is minimalist Fileteado.
Fileteado is a type of artistic drawing and lettering, with stylized lines and flowered, climbing plants, typically used in Buenos Aires.
The fileteado porteño was born in Buenos Aires at the beginning of the 20th century as a popular decorative practice.
And this is the end of day 5 in Buenos Aires.
So we thought we'd made a good purchase on a couple of ex-UP SD70s. But considering all the emissions requirements and the extra money they'd cost us to operate yearly, and the fact that the Lake States Railway wanted to do some horse trading, we let the 70s go to them in a trade for a couple SD40s. We put them in service upon arrival, but repainting is far down the list of priorities right now. So I came up with a lettering plan to incorporate into the Lake State's blue and grey paint scheme. This is the result and it should work for a while. We've also had many compliments on the layout so everyone's happy until we can eventually break open the IN black and yellow paint cans.
