Vanmorgen werd ik letterlijk wakker getipt dat er iets bijzonder zou rijden naar het oosten. De speciaal bestickerde 186 364 was in de vroege morgen al vertrokken vanuit Rotjeknor naar Bad Bentheim met een fraaie keteltrein.

Tegen tienen kwam ik aan op de Oude Stationsweg bij Dijkerhoek. Als snel bleek dat er nog meer mooi langskwam. Het resulteerde in een topochtend vol met mooie loc's en treinen. Meer zal ik deze week plaatsen!

Als vijfde en laatste mooie/bijzondere trein van deze ochtend rijdt de HSL 186 364 'Waverider' hier tussen Deventer en Holten met de keteltrein naar Bad Bentheim (D).

Being a bit old-fashioned there is nothing better than a handwritten letter. For this I have a beautiful carton container as you see. Unrolling the bow to open up the letter role feels so nice.....similar to having pen friends in my teenage years.

Macro Mondays: Charm

Way back in 1971 my husband was conscripted to do National Service. While away from home he wrote to me & so we started "going out together" by mail. So this charm is a reminder of how we started dating.

A letter that my mother wrote to my grandma when she was little..a long time ago..i just loved her writing and what she says..i used to be able to write like this too in the past..they made us practice at school..i do not think they do that anymore unless you get into calligraphy class later on ;-D
