She was, as usual, very impatient to get out of the house and get to the park to play ball. Of course I was slow so she wasn't too happy about that and the door wasn't open, another thing in the way! But, Shizandra is a sweetie and took it all in stride and we did get to the park and she pooped herself out as usual.

Lyon is my favorite city in all of France. I has an interesting location nestled in hills where two rivers meet. Old and new blend seamlessly in this modern metropolis. Wide pedestrian shopping areas lined with cafés are fun to explore. The restaurant scene is completely fantastic. Did you know you can walk from neighborhood to neighborhood in underground tunnels that are centuries old? Amazing. :o).

I was fortunate to have to go to Québec often for business. I almost always stayed longer to explore. I came to love the area known as Mont-Tremblant, now joined with the neighboring village of St-Jovite. Fantastic mountain resort about 90 minutes north of Montréal.
