A glimpse of dawn at Les Anses-d'Arlet. Facing the Caribbean Sea, this is an impossibly pretty town on the southwest side of the island. Martinique is an overseas department of France.

Caribbean | United States Virgin islands | St. John | Trunk Bay Beach | Often ranked as one of the world's best beaches, Trunk Bay offers crystal-clear water, white sand, and a famous underwater snorkeling trail. Swim with wild sea turtles before you drink a refreshing rum swizzle. Recipe: cranberry juice, 7-up, chunks of pineapple with its juice ( buy canned pineapple chunks in juice ) and Myer's Original Dark Rum. Play with the combination and you will find the exact mix ratios you like best. These are a treat that is hard to beat. Chill all of the ingredients before mixing and fill the glass with ice. :o). If you prefer them "virgin", just skip the rum. It's okay to slurp.
