304/365 It was pink slip day. We were all let go. All of the K teachers. All of the grade 1 teachers. We're all new (2nd, 3rd year) and still working toward "professional status". Supposedly, this is a "formality" until the ed budget is finalized. Still, it feels crappy.

This is one of a long line of characters created for two temporary eco-graffiti installations put up to promote Beakerhead's 2014 theme #LetGo. Four graffiti murals went up overnight on May 20, thanks to the creative team at Komboh.
I opted to get a little bit interactive with the mural, bringing along one of Beakerhead's most-recognized symbols - Little Robot. He's floating along in front of Rocketman, expressing a warm welcome.
