Calgary artist Joey Camacho created a very cool version of "Beakerhead" that's been installed at the City Hall LRT to promote the engineering, art and science smash-up that's taking place in just a of weeks.
Members of the Beakerhead Photography Team have been challenged to photograph the installation to help build excitement across a range of social media platforms.
I loaded up my bag with a few toys before I headed downtown for about half an hour to see what I could create. One of the toys in my bag was an old iPod speaker that the kids got for Christmas several years ago. I thought it worked well as a "space alien" and this photo seems to be going over well within the Beakerhead community.
