Just a short break before the kids are back from school this morning. I love these windows. I think that they were one of the first things that I fell in love with in this house. They are big and wide and give me one of my favorite views from the entire house! The birds are stopping by the feeders this morning and the hummingbird is visiting my hanging flowers. It is such a calming, relaxing spot!

june 2017 letgo lot purchase. im not sure if her knee's are supposed to be so loose or not but this girl's lower legs fly all over when i move her around, lol. she is as bad as freak du chic honey's legs!
Today I presented my art project in class. I was super nervous but my friends Jess and Katherine were there to cheer me on! :)
So during the process of creating this "masterpiece", I learned a few things.
At first, I wanted to do this specific "splattering things and expressing emotion" art for a person I have lost a friendship with.
But when I drew the swan, I couldn't help but think it looks so pretty I can't ruin it by splattering paint on top of it!
I realized I am not angry at this person. I do want to destroy or "hurt" the swan and I wouldn't want to hurt this person either.
I was just saddened by the fact that we don't speak anymore.
So I attempted to splatter paint on the outside of the swan.
I used different weird things to create this. I used honey, cotton balls, the insides of a cigarette, pieces of muffin, coffee crystals, rose petals, and the colors blue, purple, yellow, green because each of these things mean something to the person and I.
The swan represents the person and the roses represent me.
The blue purple color inside the swan is fading from dark to light. I did this to show how this person had a "dark" past. The darker side is the demons he had to face to get to the lighter side.
The ripped up roses form a circle in the middle. If you notice the middle of the circle is a broken heart.
The outside of the swan is his inner/outer demons. The honey represents me as well as the roses. I am represented on the outside as well as the inside because i was once his friend but now I am an "outsider".
I also used the inside of a cigarette on the outside of the swan because that is his weakness and addiction.
The honey, tobacco, and rose petals are also very fragrance-y and I used that as the smell for my project. I never figured out what his "smell" was and so I added smells to emphasis that. This is my way of finally letting go. I need to let go. I let go.

Maybe I wasn't one of those cool kids so we grew apart. Maybe I wasn't fun enough so we stop hanging out.
Maybe I was a stupid when I thought I was one of the few, no, maybe the only one you could be vulnerable with as everything in your life went south and you felt like giving up.

It's all about finally letting someone go and them fading out of your life. You stay connected for as long as you can, but eventually it'll disappear.
P.s. That's my best friend. He didn't ask why or make a big deal about it. Thank you for being so helpful.

I walked all the way from plaza singapura to fareast plaza tonight after work. I've been doing that for as long as I can remember but tonight is one of the most tiring walks I've ever done. The pressure to buy something adds up to the strain. Still, I end up buying just one piece of shirt for my nephew. Urgggh. That means, more walks to come.. :(

Her one leg is broken & i used super glue to do a quick fix but it is very wobbly & the glue foamed out.
