Ojo Blanco/Lester Weiss
São poucos os amigos do Flickr que me recordo quando fiz o primeiro contato. Creio que fui parar na página do Ojo, através da página do Farfam que, aliás, conheci por indicação do Peterbox, meu primeiro amigo estrangeiro aqui no Flickr. No contato com ele fiquei sabendo que ele tinha outros amigos brasileiros desde os tempos do Fotolog. Pois Ojo está no Rio e, hoje, tive o imenso prazer de fazer umas caminhadas com ele pelo Cosme Velho e por Santa Teresa. Eu só fiz estas fotos. Ele andou registrando algumas coisa mas, na verdade, conversamos mais do que fotografamos.
Seu amigo Howard, que vive momentaneamente no Brasil, estava conosco. Foi bem agradável.
Ojo também é amigo do Rubber Vall e, no domingo, estamos combinando de encontrar-nos no restaurante dele, no Clube Campestre, no Leblon, para o brunch nordestino que rola por lá. Já fui uma vez e é uma delícia. Quem topa ir? Depois, poderíamos fazer umas fotos pela praia do Leblon. Confirmações no amsr@openlink.com.br

I had the privilege of talking with Lester Brown at the "Salone del libro" in Turin. I presented the ideas of the Venus Project and The Zeitgeist Movement, and he seemed to be interested.
