In a previous upload I was referring to this lens about producing

1 or 2 keepers out of 100 captures and in some cases with unexpected surprises. This to me is one of those keepers and not entirely but bit with surprise too. I knew there where lens flares but did not know the shape and forms of those.

Yes surely for professionals and product shots this is only a defect but personally those gives that something plus in term of atmosphere and artistic result. Of course flares doesn't fit everywhere but in back-light situations for me absolutely yes. So this will be one of my favorites.
