Today I built a simple Lego fire truck, made with fairly common parts.
You can check out the video tutorial down here:
Honestly they’re both great, just wish they used a better color for the helmet. It’s a tad darker blue than the rest of the suit, in the movie. It is a weird choice that kinda looks weird but when it comes to screen accuracy I think that’s needed.
So some of you may or may not have seen this scene youtu.be/6bdHBoG2bLY I found out it was from an old TMNT cartoon. For those of you who want more context on who she is she's a former friend of Krang who claims he stole a very powerful power ring from her, when she got it back one of the turtles tricked her into catching a fireball which resulted in her power ring melting, and that unintentionally hilarious scene. I perfectly recreated her face and I love the hair design and body detail, oh and I even created an alt picture making it look like her power ring melted.

A cute little narrow gauge train that's now used on the Puffing Billy Railway as a "you drive" experience.
I decided to experiment with a working action 4 wide train and thought this'd be the perfect engine to build. The saddle tank worked a treat and the boiler and headlamp look great! To get the wheels working properly, I did have to break a few rules(!) but it's been a great little mind bender.
This is still a WIP and I am waiting on a few parts to create a cow catcher and make it more "colour correct".

Not really based on any one design, this is more an exploration of "how to if I wanted to". Was a fun build and I think I'll do some more pistons like this. Officially though, this is just too much dark blue grey!
First note material used is Strong Flexible Plastic.
Detail will improve once made in ABS plastic.
The Shapeways Prototypes came out AMAZINGLY good scale and good detail (considering they are in strong flexible plastic)
Find these on my site soon
This Model will have a slot in the first mold coming later this year
The APTATD Mk. 3 is a compact, yet heavy, tracked autonomous vehicle capable of moving over any terrain and quickly climbing ruins and ladders. The APTATD is armed with a minigun with a 1,200-round magazine and a 40mm heavy grenade launcher, like the Mk. 19, with a 20-round magazine (both weapons with manually refilling cartridge). It is also equipped with smoke launchers and two front-mounted claymore mines. The APTATD was designed as an infantry support vehicle and uses the same enemy recognition as the AIST, the BODYGUARD system. It can engage infantry, drones, and light vehicles with it's weapons, and can be used as an autonomous heavy weapons fixed station. Given its size, speed is its weakness.
