Many of the squads in GOW have names taken from the phonetic alphabet, where code words represent individual letters in the alphabet. For instance, "Delta" is "D", "Echo" is "E", and so on. This helps to avoid confusion when communicating with letters that sound similar to one another. Notable Gears squads include Delta, Alpha, Echo, Bravo and others. "W" is represented by the code word "Whiskey". This is the origin of the name for Whiskey Squad.
Many improvements here, but still very much a WIP that still may get scrapped or modified.
Big changes - windows are 2x3 (4) instead of the normal 4x3 frames; downpipe, adjusted chimney and the core of the second; bay window utilises a different roof and mounting, but ideas are on the boil for a prettier way of doing this (rather than the gaps hinge bricks leave).
Have taken into account the comment re. size, but I have made this proportional to many pics and have based the scale on the windows and the door, rather than minifigure. Pitch angle of roof, etc, is all brick for brick, millimetre for millimetre to the pics I have of the station used in the movies (Goathland).

The DSFAD is a remotely piloted or directly controllable submersible drone that supports the "Orka" division of the Italian Navy. Given its small size, it is easily transportable and deployable, and can operate with agility and relative speed in all types of seabeds. It has a range of 15 hours at a maximum speed of 6 knots, can submerge to depths of up to 50 meters, and can support up to two Orkas. Its primary role overlaps with that of the SDV. It is also used for clearing shallow waters of mines, recovering and deploying equipment, conducting underwater reconnaissance, conducting sabotage, and, finally, when equipped with an explosive charge, as a kamikaze drone against medium-light naval units. However, its antennas, in unmanned operations, limit its effective operational range, and therefore it is primarily deployed from submarines to operate in close proximity.
So I actually made this figure a while back, originally the only Star Wars custom I was going to do was Princess Leia in her A New Hope costume, but as you can see, I couldn't help myself and made more figures. So today I present to you Luke Skywalker in his Tatooine costume from A New Hope.
Before we go any further, I just want to say this figure is heavily inspired by Legomatic9's Luke Skywalker from A New Hope. The torso is the current torso design Lego uses for Luke Skywalker, not a drop of paint on it, as well, the head is the standard Luke Skywalker head. The hair started out as the light haired version of the Luke Skywalker hair, but I painted it a darker color. Still not perfectly satisfied with it, but I like it well enough. I then extended the tunic by using white e-tape, an idea I got from Legomatic9's Luke Skywalker. The color on his boots I acknowledge is not the most accurate, but like his hair, I like it well enough.
Lastly there's the lightsaber. The lightsaber started out as a black Brickforge lightsaber that I ordered from FireStarToys. I then painted the hilt a metallic silver.
Hope it looks good, I made a couple other figures from A New Hope, and then I was going to do some characters from Star Wars Legends since I loved the old Star Wars Expanded Universe, even after Disney declared it non-canon. It really sucks that I'll probably never see characters like Mara Jade, Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus (No he and Kylo Ren are not the same) Kyle Katarn, Galen Marek/Starkiller or Mirta Gev in any new Star Wars stories, honestly I don't understand how people can prefer the new Disney canon to the old Expanded Universe but to each their own, what's important is that we all love this great franchise.

So as we all know, Carrie Fisher died one year ago today, December 27th, 2016. I remember when I first heard she had a heart attack, and I was really hoping she was going to pull through. But things took a turn for the worse and she was gone. I was like 5 or 6 when I saw my first Star Wars movie, A New Hope, on VHS. I fell in love with that movie the first time I saw it. Luke was always my favourite, Leia was a close second, and then Han was my third (Yeah I know, most people prefer Han above all the other characters, I'm weird that way). Leia was awesome. She was strong, she had a sharp tongue, she was beautiful, I could go on. And I loved her just as much in Empire and ROTJ.
I was disappointed that she wasn't given much to do in Force Awakens as General Leia. Also disappointed with Last Jedi, although to be fair, I was disappointed with the bulk of the movie and not just Carrie Fisher's role, which sucked because I was really looking forward to Last Jedi and hoped that she would have a memorable role in the movie seeing as this would be her last ever appearance in... well, anything, but I can't say I found much of the movie that memorable. If you did, all the more power to you.
I also enjoyed hearing her voice as Angela in Family Guy and watching videos of her at different events or seeing her interviewed on Stephen Colbert. She had a wicked sense of humor. I also had an immense amount of respect for her for talking publicly about having bipolar disorder, as someone who has a mom with bipolar disorder.
Of all the celebrity deaths recently, hers and Adam West's probably hit me the hardest. So I decided to make my own custom Lego Princess Leia. The skirt and hood you see are CapeMadness, the skirt was originally a gray colour that I painted white. The neck I painted white too, the torso and e-tape belt design were largely inspired by LegoMatic9's Leia and WavyFilms' Leia. I'll probably improve the belt at a later date. And that's pretty much it.
Carrie you were gone from this world too soon. I hope wherever you are now, you've found some kind of peace. Also, thanks for the laughs, and thanks for being one of the most badass princesses of all time.
R.I.P. Carrie Fisher.
