Our Toyota is fantastic... A Corolla II, fully automatic, I had to squeeze myself in, into this right hand drive ( in Sweden we drive lefthanded ) tearing the floor rubber mat loose. The car was rented at Bargain rentals in Christchurch - it worked like a swiss clock all the way.

Esther and I made tons of scrappy buttons for the campaign (Ken made a few too).
Then we were off on a wild-timo ride from North to South Portland with a few twists and turns (Lloyd Mall tunnel anyone?). This was one the best night time rides I've ever been on since I rode so many places I never have been. We finished at the Nightlight on Clinton (another left-hander) with some home-baked cake by Esther.
My Grandmother gave this to me some years ago. I believe she said "Us Left handers have to stick together! I don't generally wear it in public.
"Handedness" is behavioral lateralization - the tendency to use or respond with one side of the body while engaged in various activities. The most obvious manifestation of this in humans is writing with the right hand or the left hand.
Just for interest's sake, here are some numbers based on observations I've made over the years in Newark, Ohio (this is a fall 2024 update): out of 909 people, 811 were right-handed and 98 were left-handed. "Lefties" are 10.78% of this population sample.
Surprisingly, handedness is also observed in the fossil record, from Pleistocene proboscideans to Cambrian trilobites. Published census information on trilobites with healed predatory bite marks shows that a statistically significant percentage of specimens were bitten on their right sides. Studies of fossil hominids show that about 90% were righties and 10% were lefties.
