The Hold Your Horses Family Festival was held on June 6th at The Women's Museum. This event was held in conjunction with the exhibit Tall in the Saddle: Cowgirls, Ranch Women & Rodeo Gals. Attendees learned how to lasso, feasted on authentic western food and interacted with the exhibit.
Two English Teacher Bears come from London. They will teach me some useful English words from now on.
I put on my school T-shirt. I will be a good student.
The Learning Garden Laboratory is a 4-acre garden education site located in SE Portland that provides K-12, university students and community members with hands-on education in sustainable gardening, healthy nutrition and permaculture.
Since became a member of HA , I have learned so many thing such as coloring, distressing, layering and more.

The donor recognition wall on the second floor pays tribute to the generous WSB donors who have helped the Learning Commons come to life.
The George Brown students who volunteered to assist in the dinner series had to all commit to all four events in order to be considered. Really good of these "kids" to put so much time and effort to learn and work with some of our industry's best. What an honour and learning experience, but also good for them to have the dedication to commit to it. Round of applause.

UIS student Chloe Compton recently served as president of the senate during Model Illinois Government (MIG) simulation at the Illinois State Capitol. Each year, UIS students join other college students from around the state for the annual simulation. MIG members begin preparing for the legislative term in the fall.

On holiday in Queenstown, we went on the TSS Earnslaw. Here is Mark reading the diagrams explaining how the steam engines work. Mr7 then used this knowledge to do a write-up for his "Techno Kea" badge when he got home. (A Kea is the youngest member of the scouting movement in NZ)

GDS colleagues participated in 3 introductory sessions to coding at GDS. Students were from the Women's and BAME network. Volunteer coaches were from across the organisation, and included frontend developers, backend developers, and site reliability engineers.
