This barn sits close to the abandoned house that I posted a few days ago. The vines are slowly taking over this one too, but not nearly as fast as the house.
Harrison County, Indiana
I did a lovely walk around my city, decided to go and see how the other half live in the Park Estate, most of the house prices on this estate look more like a mobile phone number, and way out of my price range, I mean, who needs 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms?

Gehören mit 601 m Höhe zu den höchsten Klippen in Europa, leider bekommt man diese 'Höhe' nicht wirklich in ein Bild! Es war sehr beeindruckend.
The Slieve League (Sliabh Liag) Cliffs west Ireland are the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe at 1972 ft. / 601m.

Loch Earn, Perthsire, Scotland. The sculpture is called 'Still' by Rob Mulholland and sits on the bottom of the loch. It is known locally as the Mirror Man (although it is made of metal), hence the title of the photo.

I'm not sure what's with me today, but I'm into making random photos on a whim. Only new figures here are Fire and Ice, which I made just for this.
Bunglas, Carrick, County Donegal, Ireland
I have many memorable moments throughout my years of photographing Ireland. However, I can tell you that standing here all alone on the very edge of our known world was one of the best to date. With the warm sun almost burning my face to be gently cooled down again right on time by the cold Atlantic breeze every few seconds is something hard to describe via words.
The sounds of sea birds squawking & waves moving the loose shale in the little coves below, seemed to resonate & echo off the giant cliff wall. This created some very unique sounds. Standing here absorbing all these elements you can gently slip into a meditative state. Maybe that’s what attracted the ancient monks to live & worship on these cliffs.
At over 2000 ft high! these magnificent cliffs are amongst the highest sea cliffs in Europe. They stand almost three times higher than the more famous ‘Cliffs of Moher’ in County Clare. Remarkably there are remains of an early Christian monastic site on the sides of these cliffs. These remains consist of a chapel & some beehive huts. Even older stone tools & remains were uncovered on these cliffs that suggest that it was a site of ancient worship even before the arrival of Christianity 🙏
