As seen on a tiny patch of land, that nature had taken over by the edge of an inner city car park.

Just before we headed off to the airport Coleen took a few shots of the Bleeding Hearts just after it had rained. My flower shots were not good, but I loved the way the water droplets covered the leaves.

cold, colder, frozen cold it was only a short sunny more it was so cold that ice crystals are put back on the nature.

The days are getting shorter, the sunlight weaker. I sit outside and enjoy the delicate rays of sun on my face, like this still green leaf.

Die Tage werden kürzer, das Sonnenlicht schwächer. Ich sitze draußen und genieße die zarten Sonnenstrahlen auf meinem Gesicht, genauso wie dieses noch grüne Blatt.

Short stroll around the neighbourhood looking for an autumn shot or two. Liked the look of this one.

Sun light streaming into glasshouse revealed the detail in this leaf.

HISTOIRE PHOTOGRAPHIQUE

Juin, il y a quelques années, une belle surprise chez moi, la construction d’un nid de merle d’Amérique, dans un vinaigrier juste au bord du patio (terrasse). À 3 mètres de la table patio! Dès le début de la construction, j’ai éloigné la table-patio d’un 3 m de plus pour laisser le couple tranquille! Après l’éclosion, je laisse la famille s’habituer à notre présence. Ensuite, j’ai rapproché graduellement la table chaque jour! La famille de merle semble maintenant bien à l’aise et les parents voyages constamment pour nourrir les 3 petits toujours affamés. Et bien là! C’est le temps pour quelques séquences de photo! Mais, à 2 ou 3 jours de la sortie des jeunes vigoureux, l’instinct des parents protecteur monte et l’inquiétude est ressenti à voir le comportement des oiseaux. Alors retour de la table patio à 6-7 mètres jusqu’à la sortie du nid! Beaucoup de ver de terre et quelques fruits pour le menu, ici, un fruit d’un murier.
