They say: It is always safe to be in a pack? - On Small Town streets, these days, when especially if you are only on two wheels, where life can be like riding a bicycle: long as you just keep pedalling on or you just fall off. - Then only to find that you have got left behind from the pack!
I spotted these Cyclists on a resist visit to Settle Town, which is up in the Yorkshire Dales of England and which looks a cosy way to get around in this small town!

They've come and gone twice in one day! I have seen tens of thousands of followers but have seen the leader!

The Proud Leader
In the calm of an early morning, on water barely moving, one swan stepped forward — quietly, confidently, speaking only with his gaze.
He took the lead, steady and composed, guiding his small white procession as they followed the rhythm of the river.
For a moment, it felt like a gentle ceremony of nature, a ritual revealed only to those who wait long enough for the world to exhale.

The 92 year old Leader Church sits on the Colorado prairies about 30 miles NE of Pueblo CO or 40 miles SE of Colorado Springs CO as the crow flies.
Went walkabout last night and came across this industrial area that I think I will visit again at some point. These Unitanks are a product of a family run business that sell containment solutions in this case, Mineral Oil. I want to get behind these and see what other industrial stuff there is.
I've only ever been told to get lost by security once before elsewhere so I'll hedge my bets ;)
I loved how this single tank stuck out in front with the logo that looks to me like an eye, giving this a cycloptic, in fact an almost Dalek persona. This can be found on the Berlin-Westhafen canal viewable from Seestraße.

Class leader VIA 900 brings up the rear of VIA 62 as it approaches a vintage signal bridge. It is showing a Limited to Clear signal for VIA 62, which will bring it to the South Track, with CN 149 coming on the North Track.
That relocated headlight lets you know the leader on Norfolk Southern's train 290 wasn't always a thoroughbred. NS 3553 was built in 1979 for the Burlington Northern; BNSF sold it as surplus at the turn of the Century. Helm Financial had it in leasing service until 2013 when Norfolk Southern bought it and others to add to their fleet.

A Thirteen-Lined Ground Squirrel (Spermophilus tridecemlineatus) poses perfectly to display the markings which give the species its name. This little creature was observed along a gravel road on the prairie landscape near Leader, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Victorian era buildings on Colborne Street, between Church Street and Leader Lane
Colborne Street is a street running several hundred metres east of Yonge Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It crosses Victoria Street and Leader Lane, ending at Church Street. It is located between and parallel to King Street East and Wellington Street East. The street is notable for retaining several historic buildings built during the reign of Queen Victoria.[1]
In 1822 a two-storey building, Masonic Hall, with a cupola was built on what is now Colborne Street.[2]
The 15 storey Trader’s Bank Building at the corner of Colborne and Yonge streets was the tallest building in the British Empire when it was built in 1906 191

The vehicles carrier, Pisces Leader [IMO 9676876] on approach to Fremantle Harbour on December 16, 2015. Her previous port was Port Adelaide and once she has discharged her cargo via Patrick Stevedores operated No. 11 NQ berth will continue on to Singapore. She was built at the Shin Kurushima Onshi shipyard in Japan in 2014.

Nothing gives me more joy than seeing CSX pumpkin units being used in ways they weren't intended to be. George Cheatwood shot this R409 at Akron on August 30th 1999 with the correct leader. JL Sessa collection.
CP/D&H trains 700/701, sulfuric acid tank cars from Montreal to Baltimore and returning empties, frequently included MLW power in their locomotive consists. Getting them on the road with an MLW leader was a prize, but sometimes the railfan gods toyed with us mere mortals. That was the case here as an M636 sat deep in the CSX East Side Yard in Philadelphia, with no word of when a crew was called. If I recall, we moved on to other things
Any of these units would have made for a good leader but WC soon chopped and repainted the ex ACR GP7 fleet so I'm grateful for any shots I have of them still in there original appearance. Train AORELD works south around one of the many curves on the former ACR near Heyden with 1505, 5972 and 6560 leading the ore loads on July 30, 1995.

Just after sunset, Canadian National train 348 rolled through Lake Villa on the Waukesha Subdivision in 2003.
Aided by a Union Pacific C40-8W, former Grand Trunk Western GP9R 4627 was a rare leader at the time on a road freight. It's nifty Nathan M3 horn echoing throughout the area. It was a wonderful thing.
