SOLD.I created this piece for the December 2011 EBWC (Etsy Bead Weaver Challenge), the theme is 'Arabesque Style'. Joanne Teague selected this theme as she was the winner of the October 2001 challenge. I joined the EBWC team earlier this year (2011) and this is the first of what I hope to be many more challenge EBWC entries.
Using a 2 part moulding compound and a very cherished vintage Michal Golan pendant, the focal pendant was created.
Using the mould and polymer clay the cab was formed, then the cab was dusted with Mica powders in a very pale mint green, prior to baking. Once cured I rubbed specific areas of the cab with metallic wax paints. I allowed small depressions in the cab surface so was able to stud the cab with Swarovski chatons in 'Alexandrite' which is a colour changing hue. It changes from purple to green depending on what the light source is. The polymer clay focal cab has been sealed with matte clear varnish.
I then bead wove (using peyote) the cab, embellished it using Chrysolite Opal 3mm Swarovski bicones and matt sterling silver plated Toho seedies.
The strap and surrounding beadwork is cubic RAW in a size 8 Miyuki seed bead described as 'matte teal AB'.
The reverse of the pendant has been sealed with dark green Ultrasuede, then embellished with seed beads and stick pearls.
This piece took many, many hours to not only bead but to create the polymer clay cab and 2 part mold.

You're gonna love this Black Tigers Eye Necklace with Hammered Metal Circle Pendant. Black and silver tiger or cats eye beads, also known as fiber optic glass beads are patterned with small silver glass e-beads. A shiny hammered charcoal metal pendant stands out.

Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be sailboat carved pendant and peach pearls jewelry set. Peach pearls sparkle and shine in this long necklace. The shell pendant is carved with a beach scene. The pearls are peach, tangerine, cream, off-white, and a pale tan with shimmer copper seed beads in between. The necklace measures 24 inches and is held together with a simple silver toggle clasp. Shell pendant measures about 2 inches long and wide. Simple peach earrings dangle 3/4 inch. This jewelry set is perfect for those evening walks on the beach.

This sweet looking dalmatian is silver plated, flat and large but not too large to be overwhelming. He's strung on a red, four threaded cord and silver clasp. I know all dog lovers will love him.
Lady's handmade vintage platinum pendant with scalloped edging and pierced scroll work. This is a large pendant, measuring 80 by 58 mm. It is set with one round cabochon sapphire having a violetish blue colour and a light but complete star, as well as ten other sapphires, and 271 diamonds with various European cuts.
This huge earthy Mookaite (also known to be spelled moukalite, mookite, mookerite, moakite, moukalite and mookalite) Jasper gemstone is 2-1/4 inches on the longer side 1-1/4 inches at the widest part and approximately 1/2 inch thick. The colors are tan, golden yellow, dark brown and a dark brick red. This cool pendant is strung on three strands consisting of one dark brick red or maroon piece of soft suede, one flat silk ribbon and one hand-sewn and hand-dyed silk cord. The necklace is a total of 26 inches long (can be shortened at no additional cost) with a gold-plated hook and eye clasp. (N-1073)

I always wanted to make a necklace that is of tribal theme, but add today's fashion touch to it and after much thinking on the design, I decided to make this simple necklace made of wooden beads with a distressed look with a large focal tribal pendant. The necklace is about 18 to 19 inches in length, a very simple and modern piece, and offered only at 12$
