A popular tourist destination for its ease of access and sheer beauty. I need to return when the mountains are snow-capped

Nothing is more glorious than sunrise. This is of Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada. It was 35 degrees mid-august, but the shot is worth it.

This New Zealand paradise is a 3 shot pano of puffy pink sunset clouds against a mountain landscape, reflected on beautiful Lake Matheson.

Spray Lakes reservoir is one of 3 large lakes in the Kananaskis. It lies between the Goat Range and the Three Sisters ridge, at an elevation of 1,720 meters (5,640 ft). It is a prime wildlife area as well.

Spray Lake is a central point in Alberta's beautiful Spray Lake Provincial Park. The Park shares it's western border with Banff National Park.

One of the many lakes in our area that mirror Mt. Hood. It was a surprise, though it should not have been, to discover that the area was hopping with the tiniest frogs I have ever seen. They were everywhere, even though we were watching every step, I am sure we must have squashed a few.

Peyto Lake is such a glorious view, even on smokey days such as this one. The color of the lake is caused by glacier run-off and minerals. It is located right off the Icefields Parkway in Alberta, Canada.
