This four-spotted ladybird 🐞was playing "hide & seek" with me.

I know ladybirds 🐞🐞 cant play "hyde & seek" 😀

We made our annual trip to Fort Bragg’s Garden by the Sea. This large, brilliant crimson flower, Papaver commutatum 'Ladybird' (Poppy), is a very popular annual flower, featuring showy, bowl-shaped, vibrant red flower, 3 in. wide (8 cm), with a large black spot at the base of each petal. A prolific bloomer, each poppy may bear up two dozen or more flowers at a time. It was such a welcome and beautiful sight.

My first ladybird I've seen this year. He wished he had an umbrella

Just a wee picture of a ladybird taken in my garden last year...
