My lazy Labrador, basking in the afternoon sunshine!

My family dogs playing outside. 8month black male and 5 years old girl.

L'obsession des gens du Sud pour les "greens" d'un vert surnaturel et d'une texture quasi-industrielle n'est pas le souci de ces "vrais" golfeurs du Labrador. Par un dimanche ensoleillé (et chaud, environ 18C), ils profitent de la belle température pour pratiquer leur loisir (ne me dites pas que le golf est un sport !) dans un décor naturel, garanti exempt de pesticide et d'engrais ! Sauf peut-être les crottes de caribous...

This Labrador was lying down in a shop doorway and was happy to pose with holidaymakers. We visited the town daily and the dog was invariably in the same spot.

very nice notebook I found in Bangkok, Thailand. Labrador is a local Thai company who seems to mostly sell leather goods, including filofax-type organizers. This is in effect also a refill for a leather cover they make.

Labrador tea (Ledum groenlandicum) is found in peat bogs throughout the northwest. The leaves can be boiled and the tea that results can be consumed in moderate amounts. Consumption of excessive amounts can lead to intestinal disturbances.

Labrador Tea (Ledum palustre) in the woods on a hill above the Matanuska River. WIldflowers of the Alaska Highway by Verna E. Pratt says "The ledum genus contains "ledol", a poison causing cramps and acting as a diuretic. A tasty tea is made of the leaves, but should be taken sparingly at first, until the system adjusts to its effects."
