De Labrador retriever of kortweg labrador is een hondenras dat afkomstig is uit Newfoundland en Labrador, en afstamt van de St. Johns-hond. Vanuit dit ras is vanaf midden 19e eeuw in Engeland gekruist met een aantal andere rassen, zoals de Gordon setter, de spaniël, de Flatcoated retriever en de Chesapeake Bayretriever.
De St. Johns-hond werd door de Eskimo's gebruikt voor de visvangst, de labrador werd gefokt voor de eendenjacht en voor de jacht in moerassige gebieden. De retriever heeft rudimentaire zwemvliezen tussen zijn tenen.

mesi di età, raggiungerà un peso da adulto di ca. 30 kg.
Nero fu trovato in provincia di Roma, era appena un cucciolo di due mesi e
la persona che lo ha trovato decise di tenerlo. Ora questa persona ci ha
chiesto di trovare una famiglia a Nero perchè lui non può occuparsene
oltretutto ci ha detto che Nero è sempre solo in casa e vorrebbe trovare
per lui una sistemazione più adeguata.
Ora è ospite da una volontaria insieme a tanti cagnolini e gatti e si
diverte un mondo, forse ha preso questo cambiamento come una vacanza e non
sa che se non troveremo per lui subito un'adozione definitiva si apriranno
le porte di un canile.
Nero non potrà rimanere ancora a lungo in stallo dalla volontaria, le
emergenze sono sempre tante e non potrebbe accogliere altri cuccioli
bisognosi.
Nero convive dalla volontaria con tanti altri suoi cagnolini, in famiglia
ci sono anche dei gatti ed è dolcissimo con loro, adora giocare ed è molto
coccolone. E' un cagnolino decisamente intelligente, ricettivo, ben
socializzato con gli umani e tanto bisognoso di una mamma disposta ad
amarlo per la vita.
Nero va a guinzaglio e gli stiamo insegnando ad essere più tranquillo in
passeggiata ed essendo un cucciolo intelligente e ricettivo impara tutto
velocemente.
Nero è indicato a famiglie con bambini essendo un cane sicuro e dolce,
sarebbe un perfetto compagno di giochi.
Nero è sanissimo, si affida sverminato, spulciato, vaccinato, sterilizzato
e microchippato quindi regolarmente iscritto all'anagrafe canina ed è in
possesso del suo libretto sanitario.
Nero si trova a Roma, ma è adottabile in tutto il centro e nord Italia,
saremo direttamente noi a condurlo da te, con nostro mezzo omologato Asl
per il trasporto animali e lo faremo con tempistiche molto brevi, viaggerà
in massima sicurezza e comodità.
Non permettere che Nero conosca la solitudine di un canile, aiutaci a non
deludere la sua spensieratezza e la sua gioia di vivere!

This was the first time we've taken Bella to the river. She bounded right in. We're used to Ellie's smooth swimming. Not so with Bella. She's all splash. She'll learn! Poor Ellie didn't get to fetch the stick much. Mike would throw it for her and Bella would jump past her.
I've run out of human subjects at home who'll put up with me snapping them, so today I turned my attention and camera on my long-suffering dog, She is surprisingly difficult to photograph as she is so black, she just absorbs light and looks like a shadow. But I think I captured something of her today, albeit a look of, dare I say, boredom!

Labrador Nature Reserve (Chinese: 拉柏多自然保护区), also locally known as Labrador Park (拉柏多公园), is located in the southern part of the main island of Singapore.
