This is the label for some Maruhei dolls from the Taisho period. It names the owner of the Maruhei shope, Ooki Heizo, and it gives a cross street for the shop's location as well as a telephone number.
Food items price labels.
The Chummery was a place for friends ("chums") to gather – a joint venture between a coffee shop and an ice cream store (a sort of café-gelateria-deli).
With two existing entities combining to create a third, Widgets & Stone thought the visual identity and signage should work the same way: we used overprinting of wood types of coffees and ice creams to create a new visual.

For many industry requirements where overprinting etc is needed, a plain self adhesive label will usually be sufficient, however a lot of producers are taking advantage of a small amount of print on an otherwise blank canvas. Take these two examples that have been printed by our label printers – just by implementing a company logo in one colour these labels have added another string to their bow. Not only are they functional and cost-effective in the same way as a plain label, they also convey professionalism and maximize marketing exposure for their respective products.
