This is made from precious vintage labels passed on from my grandma. Some are poison labels! Very cool!
This is a template to make Quilt Labels on Spoonflower.
This file will give you three labels 4" tall x 6" wide with seam allowances. Finished size 3.5" x 5.5"
It is ideal if you want to order one yard of fabric with three different designs. You will get 63 labels from this size, 21 of each design.

When saving this file make sure to download the original file that is (900 x 1800)
A gold foil 3.33" x 4" label in landscape mode is used for the core message, which is set using Broadsheet, a font from the Old Fonts Collection.
Working with designers leads to some beautifully crafted work getting on our presses. So when Steve and Chris from United Creatives asked us to print these Whisky labels for their client Artisan Scotch Whisky makers Compass Box Whisky Company, we knew we were getting involved in something exciting.
The labels were letterpress printed on our vintage presses in one colour onto a beautiful uncoated label stock. The labels also required a die cut shape which we decided to 'kiss-cut'. This means cutting the shape out of the top sheet of the paper enabling the label to be peeled off the backing sheet in one piece ready to be applied to the bottles.

Installed new Dell R510 server, labeled all the cables in the rack, added new KVM, and changed OS on LEVIATHAN.

Strobist Info. One bare Nikon SB-600 on a stand with head pointing upward to bounce the lights from the ceiling. I set the power at 1/8th on a manual setting and triggered it with onboard flash from my Fuji. I had to cover my hand over the onboard flash due to shadows it creates.

The label shows how much of the vise height remains to clamp the working stock. This is a major timesaver.

When you find the picture of you, I hope you will click on the "F" - Facebook Logo that automatically "shares" the picture to you Facebook page. When you do that, it's like an electronic bumper sticker. If you make my picture your "profile picture," then every time you comment, there will be a picture of you representing President Obama showing up on each of your friends' pages for all of their friends to see.
300 pix is a lot to slog through, I know. But, to you right, are "Collections." Inside the 2012 Collection are four sets of the pictures from June 10 & 11. One set, labeled "DC Pride" has all 267. Besides that, to make the search slightly easier, I have sorted into "Pride Men," "Pride Women," and "Mixed Gender Couples and Groups." I hear you saying "did he not get the memo at all???? "How could anybody go to the Pride events and think gender comes in two flavors?" or "who is he to try to sort us into "M" and "F"???
I probably hurt some feelings because it's likely I put some folks in categories where they don't belong, but I decided that if I made it easier for people to find their picture, then more folks would find their pictures, download and use their picture, and if anyone wants me to take their picture out of one category or another, I'm happy to do that.
