This is DMC’s next level of tuning for the Aventador. The Aventador LP700-4 gets converted into the most brutal looking, street legal Bull ... DMC calls it the Edizione GT and adds the LP988-4 designation to it.
For the new Edizione GT a 900hp power output (like in their lp900) just wasn't enough, so DMC turned to a twin turbo setup ... after carefully installing two turbo chargers and turning everything in sync the actual power output almost reached the magical 1,000hp mark ... DMC went for the 988 number for good luck instead.
They kept the twelve single intake throttle plates (one for each cylinder), and the replaced fuel pumps, fuel lines, pressure units and injection nozzles.
At first glance you might think you are looking at a Veneno style kit, but closer inspection will unveil the extensive detail of the new DMC Edizione GT aerodynamic kit .
The Edizione GT was developed with actual FIA GT regulations in mind. DMC did manage to keep it street legal in the end, so it is a street car ... with race looks ... and we like it.

The Aventador was launched in February 2011 at the Geneva Motorshow, designed by Filippo Perini, and introduced to replace the ten year old Murcielago as the new Lamborghini flagship model. Stling is simular to the earlier limited edition Reventon, . In keeping with Lamborghini's naming policy the Aventador is also named after a fighting bull, Aventador being the name of a bull that fought in the Saragossa bull ring in 1993.
Production will be limited at 4000 with the carbon fibre moulds expected to be used for 500 castings, and eight sets of moulds have been produced.
The Aventador LP 700–4 uses Lamborghini's new 700 PS (510 kW; 690 bhp) 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine weighing 235 kg. Known internally as the L539, the new engine is Lamborghini's fourth in-house engine and second V12. It is the first all-new V12 since the 3.5 litre powerplant found in the 350GT.
The base price of the Aventador is US$393,695.
