Years ago , when I bought so many long-plays it was like a ceremony.
I went to the music shop, talked and enticed the girls that sold them ....*blushes*...and they enticed me more hah!!!!...
...afterwards I heard many LP`s that the girls gave me to choose.
I so saved money to buy my music....
Now, we have thousands of songs and may be 20 or 30 operas in just a cell phone...hah!!! so...
..where is the fun!!!
Renata Tebaldi, Carlo Bergonzi...Tullio Serafin...all sang in Argentina...so great singers and director!!!
Patagonia, Argentina.
Besos, ~Sergio.
eran mas mecanicos...el sonido mas calido y mucho mas humanos.

On the way home from getting my hair cut this morning, I stopped by the Free Library of Philadelphia Friends' used book store. Besides books, they have LPs for sale, for $0.25 each. I decided to flip through them and see if I could find anything interesting. (As I have before...)
I found this LP album of Christmas music, from the Baldwin School in 1979. A good friend of ours is an alumna of Baldwin, so I decided to buy it to give it to her.
I got it home and played it on the stereo. While it's playing, I saw on the back side, the recording engineer was Tony Green.
Huh... I know a guy name Tony Green. Could it possibly be?
So I sent Tony a message asking about it and... yes... it's the same Tony Green! Unbelievable.
Talk about serendipity. Amazingly, this isn't that far out of our experience in Philadelphia: the small village masquerading as a city of 1.5 million.
PS, Tony did a pretty good job on the recording engineering. Sounds good!
One to upset the hardcore LPers out there!!!
I biffed a RAW file through the Qtpfsgui freeware to create a pseudo HDR image.
What do people think?
