Two hours and many photographs later, another Biomass train heads north-east through the site and this picture once again looks north, in slightly better lighting conditions at around 13:12. Another coal train is holed up on the up freight line at the back of the station on the right, this turned out to be a VSTP (Very Short-Term Path) working and as such didn't have a proper headcode, 6xxx and Immingham Import Terminal full coal, 2400tonnes again but time table didn't indicate and was here 20 minutes early on the schedule and would, eventually, be en-route to the power station at Cottam, 10 minutes early at 13:31. Approaching from the north in the distance, passing the headgear, is a Northern Rail DMU heading for a station stop in a minute or so and its a class 144, 144007, on the 2C49 Hull to Doncaster service. At left, as well as coal in the station on the right awaiting departure to Cottam, on the left, another empty Biomass movement heading to Immingham's Biomass loading point and with one number advance on the previous Biomass headcode, this is the 4R51 working from the power station at Drax just 50 minutes away. Although Drax is _actually_ 15km exactly due north of here, due to the removal of lines and junctions in the past, the workings have to come out of Drax and head west, passing Eggborough Power Station and close-by Kellingley Colliery. West of Kellingley, the workings then turn south-east at Knottingley, and head to the Joan Croft flyover and and finally approach Hatfield station from the south-west! The Joan Croft Flyover over the ECML, was a recent large engineering effort to install a longish, EW bridge over the ECML, to help freight moves, like the one here travelling in this direction; keeping slow moving freights off the ECML so removing the possibility of slowing hi-speed passenger moves from Kings Cross to the north on the electrified lines. Network Rail are still out and about, and remain so for the rest of the time spent here, whilst the 4R51 empty(800tonne) Biomass working, Drax Power Station to Immingham Biomass L.P. passes on through with DBS operated, but EWS liveried 66230 in charge at the front.

A perfect night, cloudless skies, full of stars, small moon, and the tide was low when I needed it to be low. So beach was a must, and I was waiting for a perfect night inb this one. So that's what I did, I shot in loneliness till dawn..
(I used PS Noiseware Filter for noise reduction in the sky)
