Camila Runo, one of my favorite sim builders, has just opened a really special build. You need to come to see this in person, especially if you are a LOTR fan :-)
FIRITH GALAD
On the back slope of actual Mt Doom, (where no tourists go) a secret canyon leads to the base of the mountain just up to the right
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers today on December 18th, me and other talented LOTR builders have come together to build a scene each from the movie to honor Peter Jackson and his teams’ faultless on-screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s book.
I choose to represent Sam and frodo climbing Emyn Muil and try a new type of rockwork with some smaller pieces than usually.
"Over the lip of the little dell, on the side away from the hill, they felt, rather than saw, a shadow rise, one shadow or more than one. They strained their eyes, and the shadows seemed to grow. Soon there could be no doubt: three or four tall black figures were standing there on the slope, looking down on them. So black were they that they seemed like black holes in the deep shade behind them. Frodo thought that he heard a faint hiss as of venomous breath and felt a thin piercing chill. Then the shapes slowly advanced."
This is my moc for the Lego Ideas LOTR contest.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Fellowship of the Ring, the boys and I decided to whip up some vignettes depicting scenes from the greatest film trilogy ever.
Like most of my projects I got over ambitious and had to rush at the end, but overall it felt good to build LOTR again.
Hello everyone!
My apologies for being so inactive. Life has been busy, especially now that I've started collage.
This Aragorn is based on the Fellowship of the Ring version of Aragorn and was inspired by Mclovin's version. I decided to make it as a gift for my brother, who is a LOTR fan.
Anyway, heres some information on the figure.
-Sculpted parts: legs, chest, arms gauntlets and cloak.
-Sword: modified Brickarms Damien Blade (with sculpted bits.)
And of course all painted by myself.
I currently have many more figures and other projects in the works, so I hope you stay tuned for that. :)
Any feedback you may have is welcome, thanks!
-John

The Elvish Port city located on the Gulf of Lune in Lindon. This was built for MELO where the prompt was water and Summer Joust's Sailors and Boatmen category
My entry to the first round of YEMELO!
I can't believe I would enter, let alone stress myself so much by building it all in four days, but, well, such is life betimes :P . This is also at least the start of an entry to the gradients category of the Summer Joust.
It's Bard the Bowman watching his hometown burning! Hope you like it!
I am in a hurry... haha!

With Lord of the Rings being my favorite movie trilogy, I wanted to create a full scene from it. The entire scene is brick built and I did a bunch of editing to get the lighting as close as I could.
Here's a fun, quick series of Lord of the Rings micro builds! Which creature is your favorite?

Just another small one for the ongoing RogueOlympics on www.RogueBricks.de
This time I built a Nazrul from the movie LOTR. I used 94 elements.
In Fangorn the Hobbits meet someone they did not expect, the ent Treebeard.
A great power has been sleeping here for many long years and the coming of Merry and Pippin will be like the falling of small stones that starts an avalanche in the mountains.
After the Balrog, Treebeard is the next big figure I could build for my LotR series. The roots and branches made him an interesting challenge that I really enjoyed! Some unusual part usage are the parrot nose and the sausages for fingers.

LOL there's a drama component in this photo that brings the Lord of the Rings to my mind, not sure why!
I shot this a few minutes after the sun had completely disappeared and in hindsight it's a pity I haven't brought my tripod with me for the Christmas period at my parents'. I had to shoot this one handheld and ended up relying on Topaz DeNoise to avoid posting a grainy mess.
Obviously this one is not really sharp (because of the ISO and the usual caveat on shooting things that are kilometres away), but I still like the overall tone. I actually hadn't noticed the birds on the top left in first review!
Without any connection between both, I would like you to listen to this while having a look at the image (and please, listen till the end without skipping)!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "the Fellowship of the Ring" we have made a collection of 20x20 builds depicting iconic scenes from the movie. My build shows the scene where the hobbits hide from a ringwraith. Make sure to check out the other builds at the tagged users .
Twenty-eighth build for my IronBuilder against Tim.
The seed part, the silver technic connector, was used several times.
No Middle Earth creation in this IB?
No way!
I have a Lord of the Rings themed pinball for you.
Complete with all iconic locations and of course with play function!
Our LotR series finally brings us to Rohan, land of the Horse-Lords!
I love the wooden architecture in Rohan so I'm really glad I could build this chapter of The Two Towers. The Westfold is the first region to get attacked by Isengard, but stay tuned for more Rohan builds in coming vignettes.
The hay bundle technique comes from the mind of the always inspiring Ben Tritschler. Last week Ben tragically lost his fight against cancer. You may be gone, but your builds will never be forgotten!

Home of the dark lord Sauron.
I built this for an LOTR Lug collab where we built microscale locations in Middle Earth
A MOC I did for 2nd round of MELO at Mocpages:

I was short on time so I must have done it in aprox. 30 min.
Boromir’s Death
The final scene of my LotR series depicts the tragic death of Boromir after the breaking of the fellowship.
It's been an amazing journey through Middle Earth in the last weeks and I'm really thankful for your amazing support with kind comments and messages!
Don't forget to check out the first half of the series by Xenomurphy! Thanks for inviting me to this collab and helping a ton with the photo editing.
The builders for the second movie will be revealed at later time, so keep in eye on my stories to see how our #LotRvignettes continue.

"Hobbits have been living and farming in the four Farthings of the Shire for many hundreds of years. Quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk. Middle Earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count. All Hobbits share a love of all things that grow. And yes, no doubt to others, our ways seem quaint."
