Boadicea and Her Daughters is a bronze sculptural group in London, located to the north side of the western end of Westminster Bridge, near Portcullis House and Westminster Pier, facing Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster across the road. It is considered the magnum opus of its sculptor, the English artist and engineer Thomas Thornycroft
Another one taken back in the summer, after a nice walk around Greenwich Park.
This is the view across to the Old Royal Naval College, with the residential buildings of Rotherhithe and the City of London in the background.
Thanks very much for viewing. Wishing you a great weekend.
This was more of a recce of a new (to me) location, having seen some other photos online from here. I was thinking it might make a good summer sunrise spot. But it ended up being nice and clear when I got there and so took a few blue hour photos. I tried to move further down the hill to avoid the phone(?) masts, but the trees then obscured the view.
It's a good viewpoint for a layered view of London. With the new skyscrapers at Vauxhall and then the City skyscrapers and The Shard behind. The Strata Tower, with the wind turbines, at Elephant & Castle is on the right. The green covered seats in the bottom left of the photo are those of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, where the Wimbledon Tennis Championships are held.
Thanks very much for viewing. Wishing you a good weekend.
A view across one of the ponds within Wanstead Park in north east London. In the background a cafeteria where people usually stop to buy something to refresh themselves. Life in London.
Una vista su uno dei laghetti all'interno di Wanstead Park, nella zona nord est di Londra. Sullo sfondo una caffetteria dove le persone solitamente si fermano per comprare qualcosa per rifocillarsi. Vita a Londra.
A hot summer day is coming to an end, the colors are intense and the reflected light of the sun on the asphalt underlines the heat of the month of July in a sultry London.
Una calda giornata d'estate volge al termine, i colori sono intensi e la luce riflessa del sole sull'asfalto sottolinea il calore del mese di luglio in una Londra afosa.

Taken on a Saturday morning during the last heatwave. Too hot to sleep so decided to do something useful/enjoyable. After a little online search for car parks, headed to London for sunrise. Really enjoyable in the end. Back home by 8am and did manage to sleep until lunchtime! Thanks very much for viewing :-)
A musician plays his homeland on a warm summer's day, along the walkway adjacent to the River Thames, in London, near Blackfriars. He, who has his origins in his heart, is proud of it and expresses his awareness through music.
Not the best visibility on Sunday and a few minutes after I took this the fog rolled across London, which was quite amazing to see but blocked the view. So no blue hour night photos unfortunately. But did get a nice pink glow all around from the sunset and reflections of the setting sunlight on the buildings.
Thanks very much for viewing.
Another one taken early morning last year. The cranes along the river are part of the Tideway project (aka The Super Sewer) - www.tideway.london/locations/blackfriars-bridge-foreshore/.
