DAZZLINGLY ATTRACTIVE bird, put in a short feeding stop at Swalecliffe Kent, much to the sheer joy to me and all local birders. A handful breed in Scotland, and we only get to see them as a scarce passage migrant, on its way to Spain and Northern Africa. Now a have a permeate grin, so no need to go to sleep anymore with a metal clothes hanger bent up at the sides. lol.

The yew berries are ripe, ready and must be tasty, the parakeets have been all over these trees eating up all the berries, I dont think many will be left by christmas lol

Roaming around the marina in Redwood City, California. The closed table umbrellas caught my eye. LIFE LOL.
One of 4 baby raccoons born to our resident mom this spring. They are so tiny and fuzzy. Watching them learn to use their hands and how to climb is entertaining. Thought I'd have some fun with this shot.
I saw this painting in a shop window in Old Montreal and it reminded me of when I was a kid. My brothers and I and all the kids in our neighborhood would be outside right after school playing road hockey, then again right after dinner we would be outside playing road hockey until dark! We played hockey all year round! We made up our teams and this was our passion from the time we were about 10 or 12 years old until 16 years old! We always pretended we were our favorite NHL hockey hero as we were out there on the road playing hockey!
Even my Dad played on a Ice Hockey Team in Ayr, Ontario when he was growing up and it was his passion until he met my Mom. After that, the hockey went out the window,lol!
