Second Life has always been sensitive to the LGBTQIA+ world. Currently, the Pride at Home event, since 2020, is a sim where it is celebrated with exhibits contributed by Residents, the Equality Gallery, the community resource center, and the Pride at Home expo full of freebies. Parties and live music shows are held all month long! The other place celebrating pride is Isle of Rowlyria in a beautiful Mediterranean setting.

The Sydney Mardi Gras is an annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture and pride held in Sydney, Australia. The event has been taking place since 1978 and has grown to become one of the largest LGBTQIA+ festivals in the world, attracting participants and spectators from all over the globe. In 2023, Sydney Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride united to present a truly global LGBTQIA+ pride festival – the very first in the Southern Hemisphere. This celebration serves as a time for the community to come together and celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and equality, while also raising awareness about the ongoing struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights and acceptance around the world.

I haven't posted for a while as I've been quite sick with what we thought was pneumonia, but turns out to be bronchitis, which is just as bad, just harder to view on x-rays.
Chill Out is a regional LGBTQIA+SB arts and performance weekend with so many parties everywhere it's really quite manic!
At Carnivale, I managed to capture stellar world class performers such as Dolly Diamond and Tash York, DJ Du Jour, Polly Filla, Dean Arcuri, Art Simone (and Nate Byrne), Greg Gould, and the sensational Kate Miller-Heidke (and one of my partners friends got on stage and sung with her!)!
Now, in this social climate, it is the time to shine louder and be prouder. March, yell, protest, activate. We are not going anywhere.
