5690 Leander at Killingbeck on what I think was a York - Harrogate - Leeds - Hartlepool. 9 August 2010.
Early morning sunrise over Leeds city centre,a cold mist low to the ground and the sun coming up a little higher.
Shoving onto the Brewery Leed and across Central Avenue, GE24 with it's ECO slug set is headed for Coke with ten loads of corn syrup at Hapeville, Georgia on May 23, 2019.
Just come back from the Leeds Cruise here earlier this year and she is behaving very well now...
Paint work and other jobs to sort next year hopefully
Cherry trees blossom along the Ohio 4H Center on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The building is LEED certified with numerous energy efficiency features, both evident and not, to passersby.
66617 on the rear of what I believe is 6G99 an earlier working from York South Yard to Hunslet Yard which then worked on into Freightliner Midland Road. I was caught out and not expecting this working, which a few moments earlier had run to Engine Shed Junction, Holbeck to change over to the up line for access into Midland Road Depot.
It is seen here passing through Hunslet, about to pass the old junction into Hunslet Goods. The bridge in the foreground was originally Dewsbury Road, now part of the M621 access to central Leeds. In all the excitement I didn't note the number of front loco.
