I made a lens hood and cut out a heart shape and after I tried to figure out how it works (it took me FOREVER) I finally got some good pictures and aaarw I'm in love with my lens hood. Gotta make some more but I need black construction paper...
We helped our customer's Scion FR-S installed with our iJDMTOY brand new xenon white LED daytime running lights.
After a full day of celebrating in beautiful Palm Springs, we stole a few minutes for some more quiet photos.
This was taken with a LED light.
This weekend's project: I pulled the ballast and florescent tubes out of the garage storage room and rewired the fixture to use LED tubes. They use one third of the power and should last longer too.

The LED Strip was made by Flexible Printed Circuit Board and SMD 5050 Top RGB LED. The LED is even, large and high brightness lighting effect. Also it is soft and easy bended for installation. The cutting unit is 100mm and 3 pieces LED per group, so you could cut a different length for your project and request. The LED strip could have different color (red, yellow, Pink……) and programs include single color holding, color charge at the same time and gradual change. The LED Strip is working on 12V DC and passed CE EMC testing.
I have decided to make a few attempts at myth busting. The old saying about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel has always been fascinating to me. So how far away can you see a light in a tunnel? Based on this experiment, about 18 feet on a scale model basis. This light is 4 1/2 inches deep and mirrored on both ends. I have decided that the effect is a visual echo. Loud and bright at first and diminishing as it reflects back and fourth. Using the standard deviation of the mean coupled with the speed of light, factored by the distortion of light in a mirror, I ran a series of test measurements at various voltages. Using an array of variances to establish the amperage by volt level I manage to set the test standard. Consequently, each change was compared to a uniform standard that varied only by the test parameters. I won't post the experiment logs here, but they clearly show that the light at the other end is not a train. Instead they indicated I may have actually created the first man made black hole. Funny, I left this on last night and all the furniture is gone this morning. The furniture and rugs from the next room have all moved toward this light and the cupboard doors in the kitchen were open. I walked in to turn the light off and I was pulled toward it. I exited to the side very quickly. The longer the light is on the stronger the pull. I can't help but wonder if the sink holes reported on the news have something to do with other scientific types trying this very experiment. If anyone sees a story about a sink hole in North Georgia, you heard it here first.

Electrical Designer, Mike LaHey displays a new LED fixture that will replace the overhead lights on the canopy above Alumni Hall's main entrance.
LED technology provides better light quality and uses only a quarter of the energy when compared to incandescent counter-parts. The LED also lives about six times longer than current CFL technology and is 100% recyclable - ie: no mercury.
Mike has been adding LED lights to a number of renovations over the past year or so and estimates that seven buildings are currently sporting the new technology.
