The LED displays on this Piccadilly Line train were stuck showing this. It seems to be a combination of "the next station is..." and "Cockfosters"!
Geotagging: My phone knew at what point I lost my signal when entering the underground system.....
The Helix Tree was designed by Bruce Ramus.
It comprises of curved steel beams spirals with 1.5 kms of LED lights entwined throughout the branches. It responds to both volume and pitch of the voice with a colourful light display.
The display was part of 2013 "The Light in Winter" at Federation Square’s annual, month-long program of free events in Melbourne.

Full next generation Wireless system. Data linked to main servers via underfloor link/ Cat5. Wireless updates are sent to LED screens, and touch screen act as way finder, Web access portal, and P.O.S. display for interior design companies within the design centre.
Digital signage displays are proven to be far more engaging than static advertising, and the levels of customer retention are far higher too.
To give an idea of scale, the TDK panel alone measures 21m x 4.8m. There has been a tradition of advertising lights at this location since the Edwardian era. Personally, I preferred the old-fashioned neons and custom-shaped displays to today's LED panels. City of Westminster, London.
