For starters, the standard post cap can be transformed from non-lit to lit with an optional drop-in LED light kit, which can be used to light 1, 2, 3 or 4 side(s) of a post cap. The recessed LED surface mount light features an integrated diffuser lens that not only offers a soft glow, it illuminated hot spots that can be created by the individual LED diodes.
