My second attempt at this picture - with camera as opposed to phone. Better resolution and sharper. iPhone’s take great pictures but they struggle with night landscape.
Three ball bearings for 'Smile on Saturday' 'Round and Round' theme.
Three bearings placed on a gloss, black floor tile and illuminated with LED lighting. 16 image focus stack processed in Helicon Focus. Conversion to mono in Silver Efex Pro. Dust and speck removal in Photoshop. Split Toning and Sharpening in Lightroom.
Here's wishing you all a very happy weekend.

This week's theme for Macro Monday is "Abstract" which promised to be lots of fun to play with!
For me the most interesting material to experiment with was glass.
So I chose a green rectangular vase with a lively profile shape at the edges which I thought would make interesting abstract forms, an old wine glass with a rippled surface, and a pink glass candle holder with a copper foot for the most abstract of the images.
It sure was fun! Thank you, dear Moderators :)

Macro Monday theme for this week was Triangle, so my wife helpfully suggested that I take a macro of my pyraminx rubiks cube.
I've become slowly addicted to rubiks cubes over the past few years and usually have one in my coat pocket when commuting to keep my hands busy so I can listen to my audio book properly.
"The Dark Side Of The Moon" Re-colored Version! Self Portrait, July 2022 www.phoenixstudios.de/portfolio/dark-side-ofthe-moon-self...
This photo as part of a photo series was taken with the help of 3 assistants. It was created at night in a small lake in the summer near a forest. The clouds and the fire were created without photo manipulation but as the result of the combination of a smoke bomb (45 sec.) and background light. In addition, the water splashes reminding of a starry sky. Therefore I gave it the title "The Dark Side Of The Moon" inspired by the album by Pink Floyd, released in 1973.

Macro Monday's theme this week was ceramic and I've really struggled to find something that hasn't already been done incredibly well.
Wimped out a little and went for a simple arrangement of the edge of some ceramic side plates from our dinner set.
HMM!
