The Malt Shop diner design, was included in the casino renovation at Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls Minnesota. We designed the waiting area furniture from vintage cars into custom couches to make an entertaining seating area within the diner. The dominant tribal flame sculpture at the center of the gaming floor was inspired by an original piece located at the Creek Tribal headquarters and helps to emphasize the identity tribe within the casino.

Many of the casino décor items and signage we manufacture start as a sheet of aluminum. Aluminum materials is light but sturdy and can be routed, welded, formed, painted, textured etc… By manufactured and building facades out of aluminum, we can transform an exterior without actually changing the building structure. Light Painting in Cassiobury Park, Watford in March 2023. It is always great to see many people come to my workshops to paint with light.
Cassiobury Park is very dark at night with low light pollution where you can get a two minute exposure. Especially good with the river and its reflections.

This is the finished exterior for America’s Credit Union in DuPont Washington. I-5 Design and Manufacture replaced the existing signage and installed these channel letters to assist with ACU’s rebranding efforts. View more retail bank examples here.
First attempt at stained glass. Quote for fixing 2 broken panels was $550. I thought that I could do it myself for less, with no previous experience. I cut myself (glass), burnt myself (soldering iron) and it took 2 months but I did it for $549.97. A TRIUMPHANT VICTORY for grumpy old men everywhere!
And this is a photo of the bedroom itself to show the amount of light the three bulbs make. Yes that's my laptop on the bed, if I don't have to work with Windows during the day I leave it there after checking my mail after waking up.

I-5 Design & Manufacture created a new restaurant design for the High Pines Buffett at Soboba Casino. This restaurant design dramatically changed the atmosphere into a warm and inviting lodge-style. The timber frame structures, wood beam ceilings, mica chandeliers and custom wall murals tie the restaurant theme together with the entire look of the casino design. I-5 Design & Manufacture created this interior casino design for the Choctaw Route 69 Casino. This element installed on the ceiling is a hub cab with the Choctaw logo in the center of the circle and the I-5 UltraBrite lighting system programed to change colors and create a rainbow pattern. Rumaged through some old gear recently, and found some filters I forgot I had ! With colour digital, the need is gone for old film filters such as softness, colour corrects, etc.
But I was curious to see how my old "star" filter would render. 1/ the filter greatly softens the image, so might be good for "dreamy" portraits. 2/ the star effect creates also a rainbow/prism effect! This effect was a surprise. The ceiling lights are LED, so perhaps this increases the rainbow effect. i shall try this someday with a regular incandescent bulb, if ever I find one again.
So, another "creative" tool in my kit? :-)

The Players Club, along with many other areas, at the Choctaw Route 69 Casino in Stringtown Oklahoma were designed, manufactured and installed by I-5 Design & Manufacture. This interior casino design features the truckers’ paradise with a hint of classic automobile theme. This is the exterior of the DuPont Washington location of America's Credit Union. I -5 Design and Manufacture designed, manufactured and installed all of the signage throughout this location which included the classic ACU channel letters which are over 6’ tall, that are easily viewed for the nearby I-5 freeway. I-5 Design & Manufacture created an exterior illuminated sign, for the Oaklawn Jockey Club, like no other sign you have seen. With programmable LED lighting strips this sign can be programmed like a video monitor to view any image or video clip you want. It can also be programmed to change colors in set patterns. For the Choctaw Route 69 Casino we designed brick wall murals as well as photo wall murals to support the trucker’s paradise, old automobile theme. This is the monument sign for the America’s Credit Union location at University Place in Washington state. The message center displays the ACU logo and a time/temperature which is below the logo, and is lit-up with two gooseneck lighting fixtures on top. Click here to see more examples of bank design

This is a photo that I made from inside my place, so interior light is being reflected on the door window. I like how the interior and exterior lighting gets blended together in this image. It creates a psychological visual metaphor.
