This wind-up torch has been in our drawer for quite a while. It lights up during the winding process but will not charge so unless the user walks around constantly winding the torch it is useless. It has been in our drawer for over a year.

I did buy another one a while ago which now sits in my work bag.

Here I blocked out as much light as possible, set a 4 second exposure and used a burst of flash at the end with a red gel. The white balance was set to Incandescent as the LED's seem to be more daylight balanced so I could get it to show blue.

I took two exposures and blended them. The first was while I was winding it to light it up and the second was so I could erase all the distracting blur.

playing around with long exposure and some yellow LED's

Apologies for the poor quality. Forgot to pack my 50-200mm lens so had to make do with the 18-55mm.
