Many months ago Kyrie and I were driving through the Deep Creek Conservation Park to camp for the night. I remembered gazing out the window of scooby and saw this sight. Ever since then I have thought it would be an amazing place to shoot with the moon coming through the trees.
First problem, I didnt put it in the GPS, which is weird for me. So yesterday spent 2 hours driving around the park looking for the spot. And found it about 20 minutes before it got dark. Phew
It was dark, raining and there was no moon to be seen. This however is quickly becoming a special turn of events. I have been enjoying working in the dark quite a bit recently.
I had a great night! After a very busy and high pressure month in May, this was the perfect potion to bring me back to earth. I feel Splendiferous today!
Peace

Shielding the LED's is next on the to-do list, damn things are blinding, then I can show you the ceiling...

Apologies for the poor quality. Forgot to pack my 50-200mm lens so had to make do with the 18-55mm.

Assignment: PCA30 Water
Deadline: June 22
Image Tag: pca30
From: ashley ann*
Mission:
Get out (or stay in) and take some pictures of water. Since it's finally summertime you could choose to go out and enjoy the weather and take some pics of streams, rivers, oceans etc. OR you could stay around the house and use your own water to create droplets of water on flowers, blades of grass etc. Make your kids play in the backyard with the garden hose. The options are endless!
Anything with water goes!
WIT : a set of plastic glowing glasses and a 2 litre bottle of sparkling water, backdrop made from black card, seem to have lost exif in editing, i think because i pasted the image on a bigger background as i was a bit tight for space at the top.
The glasses have led's built into some ice effect plastic at the bottom of the glass so there was no external lighting involved, justswitch the glass on and fil it with water, each glass can have a number of colours, all random each time you switch them on

This is the last room for my granddaughters. I am particularly fond of the wall sconces. They are part of a door latch that would be used in an RV or boat to keep the doors from bouncing open. The fireplace lighting is cool. I just got these ultra bright flickering 3mm LED's. They are awesome! I have to add some to my fireplace now! lol I the shelves empty. Thought they would enjoy collecting stuff.
The 'variable climate' (Fordspeak) heated and fan assisted cooling seat switches located on the centre console on my 2013.5 model year Ford Mondeo Titanium X.
On the right all the light emitting diodes (LED's) are illuminated red which indicates the driver's seat is being heated at the maximum temperature. There are five temperatures settings available.
On the left all the LED's are illuminated blue which indicates the passenger seat is being cooled at the minimum temperature. There are also five cooling settings available.
Both driver and passenger front seats can be individually heated or cooled. The desired temperature or mode is set using the +/- on the toggle switch.
The heating and cooling of the front seats is achieved by four 'Peltier effect' thermoelectric cooling pads (one in the cushion and one in the seatback of each seat) with fan ventilation assistance when cooling mode is set. These heated /cooling seat cushion pads are generically known as TEC's (Thermo Electric Cooling Pads) in the automotive and other industries.
On Ford Mondeo's from 2007 to 2010, these heated/cooling seat toggle switches were coloured silver and located flush with the centre console, however from 2011 model year to 2014 they were black in colour and recessed into the twin cup holder recess thingy as seen here.
My previous experience of automotive heated seats is they generally fail at some point as the car ages and are virtually impossible or uneconomic to repair. Fingers and toes crossed this doesn't happen here..
This beautiful Vitesse is Chassis No.2. It was at Geneva and yesterday was at Chelsea AutoLegends. Now sold. Created such a buzz in the super car paddock. (I'M VERY HAPPY that i was on the press side of the fence as the crowd got veryyyyy big!)
