I have an impression that Malaysians like blue colour as contrasted with the preference for green colour among other Islamic people. This is an example.

Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy, and the monarchy is like a federation of sultanates. The Head of State or the King is chosen to a five-year term from nine sultanates on a rota system. Kuantan is the seat of Pahang Sultanate.

Teluk Cempedak or Teluk Chempedak (literally : Jackfruit Bay) is a famous beach in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. Teluk Cempedak is located 5 kilometres east from the town centre in Kuantan and is situated in close proximity to the Royal Pahang Golf Club. The white sandy beach and the beautiful casuarinas and pine trees line the coast, with some rocky promontories facing the incessant waves of the South China Sea. All these combined to make the beach serene and at the same time delightful.

Kompleks Dagangan Mahkota Kuantan

Family trip to Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan. It was 3 hours drive from my home. Pretty nice place, the only bad thing is that the resort sucks.

Anyways, my luck was pretty bad, no sun showing up for two morning, and that's the only mornings I have. So, the last day, I decided to take something special, get really close to the wave and snap something crazy. This was taken with my 16-35 II at 16mm, you can imagine how close I get to take this. My Wife was like, what the hell are you doing?!

The fisherman goes out to sea to start their day's work in rough seas.

Long exposure HDR of Kuantan Riverfront. 5 bracketed exposures triggered using Triggertrap dongle and Android app, post-processing in Photomatix Pro and Lightroom.

kuantan is a small town and is the capital city of Pahang, Malaysia. This pic was taken from ariel of Hotel Sentral, Kuantan on the day of candidate nomination (20 april) for Malaysia general election

This is where I was born and raise. A long exposure HDR shot of the Kuantan River at night. This shot consists of 3 bracketed exposures triggered using the LE HDR mode on my Triggertrap Mobile Kit connected to my camera,

I was waiting for my shift and decided to take a walk along Cherating beach. Nothing spectacular but I noticed a lone tree log. Not an ideal condition to shoot in a hot sunny day. No drama

I'm Back ;)

From sunny Kuantan to rainy KL. We got stuck in a massive jam in KL last night - what a welcome back - oh well lots of photos, had fun with my new babies ;p

Met some interesting characters, this was at the beach just as fishermen were heading out to the sea ;)
