Ok, long story on this one, but I'll try to make it short. He was very close to becoming the Baron, but he's Gay, and I'm not a guy, so =( sorry Ashley! But he does gain the next highest rank of Knight of Hotness because of this story.
He was the first one to truly introduce me to celticish modern music. I think I'd blame him for making me love Scottish stuff and the Pipes and Fiddle so much. I went to his concert when I was really young. We were front and center. For one of his songs, he wanted people in the audience to play the spoons for his next song, so he came down into the audience to give people a pair of spoons. He gave me a pair and I got to play them for the song. He was of course wearing a kilt during the performance, and he was wearing it proper Scottish style. How do I know you ask? Well... if you've ever seen Ashley play, he jumps around alot and yeah, kilts are made to mostly stay down to hide what's underneath. But when you're in the front row, and that front row is only about 3 feet from the edge of the stage, you kinda get a more up close and personal view of things, if you know what I mean... ;) Too bad he's gay... tons of hot ones are. =P You gay guys should be extatic! You're stealing all the hotties!
