Here's something new, I processed the RAW-file through Picasa, which gave the picture some warmth but also some strange colours.
One more (this is the last) photo of old knick-knacks standing on the mantelpiece.
I like this mood of transporting itself in time that small interior fittings can create.
Buried deep in the Marrakesh Medina markets stock in this curious stall spills out onto the path of busy shoppers.
Our kitchen table is now bare as Georgina could not keep her furry little paws off my tchotchkies ... sigh.
Maybe one day when she has developed a few manners they will be allowed back :)
I made this in High school. It is a piece of teak from the spoke of a ships tiller wheel that I cut at an angle. The cross is made of shavings from filing a bone and mixing the bone dust with epoxy then filling the cross shape I had carved out. After hardening, it was sanded and sanded and polished. I made the shelf it sits on also, but you can't really see that to well... : )
