Having been raised a Baptist, I know what this is, but nothing else. Like , who might have made it and when? There are no manufacturers marks, or marks of any kind for that matter. The silver is obviously plate, it's worn away in a couple minor places. The case is marked by lots of use. It came to my mother when she was ordained in the American Baptist Convention. That was in 1978. The kit was very old then, but how old? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
A bit of an update...
The only marks anywhere on it are on the outer two latches. On them it says 'EAGLE LOCK CO. TERRYVILLE CONN. MADE IN U.S.A.
One person wrote me that it may be made for an Episcopal or Church of England clergyman. From my visits to Catholic and Lutheran services, I'm pretty sure that both can be ruled out. I somehow have the same feeling about its origin (Episcopal or Church of England). But then again, itinerant preachers were once common, and perhaps my mom's communion kit was made for that sort of clergyman. But that's just a wild...I like to think, a reasonably well educated, but, wild guess! I'm hoping to find more than a wild guess.

So, I needed to take photos of this beautiful Leica kit to sell for my uncle -- it is sitting on a foam-core white board, on the floor, between two of my dinning room chairs with another foam-core white board set across the top of the chairs as a roof. For the background I used a white sheet of linen that I tucked under the white board, then allowed it co slowly curve up in the back so as not to create a horizon. With an SB-600 bouncing off the top, I was able to get enough light to wash out almost all of the white. I did some very minor touch up work in Photoshop to make sure the white all blended together properly.

Cable Kit 300 even in conservatories More power is required in a conservatory than indoors to ensure that there is sufficient heating. As Cable Kit 300 can be installed in power outputs of up to 160W/m, this package is ideal for conservatories too. In combination with the programmable thermostat, you get an economical system. Installation The system can be installed up to 120W/m on combustible substrate, and up to 160W/m on concrete substrate. The cable is laid in a 4 mm thick layer of screed on existing floor structures such as concrete, plaster- or chipboard. It can also be laid in wooden joist frames. When installed in a wet room under a vinyl floor covering the power is normally approx.75W/m. The screed layer must be a minimum of 10 mm above the cable to ensure a sufficient dissemination of heat.
