This sketch kit is a Trader Joe's mint tin filled with Daniel Smith watercolor sticks. The mixing palette is attached to the lid with a rubberband. A nameplate ( a ruler could also be used) is attached to the tin with Velcro, and a binder clip attaches the nameplate to the edge of any sketchbook. The Pocket Tube - It once held my chocolate coffee beans,now it stores 3 of my paintbrushes.Made out of some kind of light metal.
Box - I got this from my dad,not really sure what it was originally for.
Contains a diy pallet,15 cut into half neocolor water soluble crayons,half a ikea pencil and some testing papers inside.
About 11.5cm by 6.5cm.
Kit is a local photographer and, by day, a salesperson at a chain
camera shop. She was showing me the Olympus O-MD bodies that day and
I took her picture with the Minolta Autopak 450E, with its
six-years-expired Kodak Ultra 400 film. The flash is on the end of the
camera and you can see the huge shadow it throws. Without actually
covering part of the flash (which I probably should have done),
there's no way to manually adjust the flash output. The flash is
actually quite good at more ordinary people-shooting distances, say
three metres or so. I did think of turning the camera ninety degrees,
to get the flash above the camera, and I probably should have but it's
very clumsy to hold in that position.
The border (including burning in the edges) was done in PSP X5, as was
the extra noising on the merchandise shelves.

I'm discovering that there's only so much one can do when photographing a chocolate bar; at least without any additional props.

Revell Kits London transport RML Routemaster bus kit in 1/24th scale showing the base (chassis) and lower deck floor in place and also with wheels in place, not fixed as yet due to painting to be done.
Some useful items for running tabletop games. This is a Flambeau tackle box from Walmart with adjustable compartments. Not seen here is a dry erase board of some sort and miniatures that would be used as well. This kit is designed to cram as many useful items as possible into convenient durable storage that can be thrown into a backpack. My guess at the total cost of what you see is about $40. Most of that is the dice, markers, tackle box, and scissors.
Everybody needs a BLIFNAR (Blinky Light For No Apparant Reason). In this case, this ATTiny45-based kit has some clever software PWM ported through Arduino to make a simple and easy-to-build blinky. We're also using it with the 6-pin ISP and GVS breakout line for some rapid prototyping applications.
Brick Model Railroader has been doing well with our Premium Instruction kits so far, but what many may not know is that we have produced a few full kits for special occasions. We donated a full copy of our BMR boxcar to our the Brickworld Charity Auction last year, and just recently produced a full version of our PS-1 boxcar in reddish brown fo a special request. These kits contained all parts needed to build the models.
Though we’re not selling full kits yet in our store, it is something we are working on. We have a plans for this year to try out selling full kits on a limited basis. We would love to hear what you think about the idea.
