Et fier de l'être !
Dans quelques jour aura lieu l'exposition internationale de Riedisheim .
Durant une semaine , des photographes venus du monde entier exposeront ou participeront au concours...
J'ai la chance d'avoir été sélectionné parmi les exposants , je ne participe pas au concours .
J'en suis heureux , pas vraiment pour les photographies car j'estime sincèrement n'être pas au niveau avec ce que j'ai vu dans cette expo , mais car le thème est "La photographie humaniste et engagée"...
Je pense que le jury a été sensible à mon engagement pour la nature depuis tant d'années et au thème que j'ai choisi : la vie sauvage en zone périurbaine , avec des photos pour la plupart prises dans un rayon de 5 km autour de chez moi (sauf Kiki qui est à l'honneur...)
C'est pour moi une récompense , voir une consécration car je passe souvent pour un "empêcheur de ripailler en rond" avec mes alertes et mes coups de gueules concernant la destruction accélérée de la nature... J'ai perdu beaucoup de "suiveurs et de commentateurs" sur Flickr ces dernière années en me faisant traiter de râleur (limite d'emmerdeur...) , alors que je ne suis que catastrophé par ce que je vois au quotidien...
Mais bon , beaucoup de gens préfèrent se voiler la face et faire comme si de rien était , ça permet de continuer de consommer à outrance , de rouler dans de belles autos et de voyager , parfois plusieurs fois par an....
Que laissons nous à nos enfants ?

Kiks: when my mom takes me to work, she ALWAYS takes me out. And she takes me outside and takes nice pictures of me on the wall outside her office. And she saws "awww you're cute."
Adults are 25 cm (10 in) long, with a wingspan 61 cm (24 in), and weigh 62 g (2+1⁄8 oz). They have short dark legs and a short, weak-looking black bill, measuring 27 mm (1+1⁄16 in), nearly as long as the head. The bill is long, slender, and looks slightly decurved.
They have a dark grey back, with a white forewing, black head, neck (occasionally suffused with grey in the adult) and belly, black or blackish-brown cap (which unites in color with the ear coverts, forming an almost complete hood), and a light brownish-grey, 'square' tail. The face is white. There is a big dark triangular patch in front of the eye, and a broadish white collar in juveniles. There are greyish-brown smudges on the ides of the white breast, a downwards extension of the plumage of the upperparts. These marks vary in size and are not conspicuous. In non-breeding plumage, most of the black, apart from the cap, is replaced by grey. The plumage of the upperparts is drab, with pale feather-edgings. The rump is brownish-grey.
The North American race, C. n. surinamensis, is distinguishable from the European form in all plumages, and is considered by some to be a separate species.
In flight, the build appears slim. The wing-beats are full and dynamic, and flight is often erratic as it dives to the surface for food; similar to other tern species.
Its call has been described as a high-pitched "kik"; the sound of a large flock has been called "deafening".

Description: On Wednesday afternoon I met up with Ilse, Kim and Gaby, for a sunset photo-shoot at the dune pools on Witsand beach.
While the others were doing their thing down by the breaking waves... I wandered off to the pools to see if I could find some magic there. This is what I found. :)
