4/10/08 - This morning Steven drew his first face and in a fine bit of providence, I actually witnessed the composition. I'm amazed (and biased of course) at the balance and symmetry of this. Not just a scribble he had to identify, it's clearly a face!
Pretty darn good I think for three-years-and-ten-days-old!
As soon as it was clear he was done, I said "Wow Steven! That's a great face!" and he said "Yeah! It's a King, daddy!" There was much rejoicing.
So, I'll beat you all to the punch. Yes, it's "Steven's King".
Here is the selling point... The Vortex! Isn't it great?!
Maybe you could find a house with a pond and a cow, but a vortex?? You'll never see anything like it. You can either go to any dimension, or place you like, but if you want it to be random, just jump on in!
Look how it swirls, one of the loveliest vortexes, I've ever seen.
The shopping bag I made my mom, that includes a 'portrait' based on a picture I drew of her when I was 3 or 4 years old. Kid art just makes me laugh! With 3 kids under 5 years old when I drew this, I think it's safe to say she would have had this expression quite often!

Not quite sure what this is, so it's Modern Art, baybay!
It will be at MoMA soon, so look for this young, up-can-coming artist.
My kid is awesome. This was his drawing of Daddy that he did before bed last night, complete with hair and beard!
