I had to pull some old backups out to grab an image for something, and stumbled upon some old stuff, so I'm uploading it all for safekeeping.
Formerly Keystone Dragways, Bison Dragways (1971 - 1976) was located about half an hour east of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada,
The smallest Crescent in Europe.Keystone Crescent was built by the son of a Shoreditch bricklayer; Robert James Stuckey. Stuckey built the crescent speculatively, along with over 100 other properties in the area. Finished in 1846, it consisted of 24 houses and was originally called ‘Caledonian Crescent’.
I always think it's "Keyhole" but for some reason it's "Keystone" Harbor.
"A keystone is the wedge-shaped stone piece at the apex of a masonry vault or arch, which is the final piece placed during construction and locks all the stones into position, allowing the arch to bear weight."
I guess it makes sense when you look at the the harbor as the keystone to the long curving stretch of Admiralty Bay.
Keystone Harbor is the most challenging location in the WA state ferry system due to the narrow opening, no turnaround and strong cross-currents.

"Soissons, spread out along the sloping banks of the Aisne, peaceful, and beautiful with its magnificent cathedrals, its parks, schools and busy industrial life is before you, in ruins. Early in 1915 the first German shell came hurtling through the air and crashed through the roof of this splendid old cathedral. In spite of the fact that the heads of the church had given their word of honor that the tower was not being used for military purposes the Germans made it the target of their guns. Since then it was shelled intermittently until the Spring of 1918 when the deluge of enemy steel thoroughly completed the dastardly work.
Look well and you will see that the terrific bombardment has destroyed almost every vestige of the delicate stone work that framed the windows and covered the tower.
Beyond you can see one of the towers of an old, old abbey, highly revered by the French people because of its association with the religious history of the nation. Both of its towers, there are two of them, are splintered and broken by the shelling which the Germans considered necessary. Opposite the cathedral is the wreckage of a dwelling. And near it stands one of those French soldiers who did his share toward punishing the enemy for his monstrous treatment of these once beautiful edifices."

The Lehigh & Keystone Valley Model Railroad Club Started construction on their new building in 1996. Since then they have evolved into a 4,000 sq ft operating layout. The layout takes in the Lehigh Valley, Reading, and the CNJ Railroads. They just finished the process to become known as a museum.

Where is this terracotta keystone? New Yorkers of a certain age will know. That certain age would be about 120 years old but maybe someone younger will guess.
Just outside Amador City in a deep gully known as Minister Gulch (after a Baptist whose eagerness to save souls was matched by his eagerness for gold), the Keystone Mine was at one point one of the most productive gold mines in the United States. Opened in 1857, long after the placer deposits in the area were picked clean, Keystone was perhaps the first quartz-bearing hard-rock mine in the state and despite a slow start, exploded with about $40,000 worth of gold a day (the owner who had just disposed of the property then proceeded to attempt to seize the mine and the entire city of Amador using falsified documents). By the time the mine finally ran of of steam and closed in 1919, it had dug up an estimated $24 million in gold. The old foundations still remain here, and the Mine House across Hwy 49 still stands, but the rest of the mine has since collapsed on itself.

Officially designated as Bridge 195.5 (195 miles from Baltimore, MD), the Keystone Viaduct curves to the left and the through steel truss becomes a simple plate girder span. When the bridge was being refurbished, they knocked out two bridge piers to straighten Glade City Rd. beneath and replaced the three girder structure with a single 240 ft long girder. All told, Keystone Viaduct is 910 feet in length.
