I think many know that it's been a difficult few weeks and that because of it, today I was supposed to go to my local hopital for a 'Canalith Repositioning ' (aka Epley Manouvre) to remove debris in my inner ear which was causing acute vertigo. During the last few weeks I'd managed to more or less stabilise things by doing head exercises- this was to be the end of it ( if it had worked).

Sod's Law declared that I would pick up another throaty virus two days ago and so I had my hsopital procedure cancelled, and postponed indefinitely . In the meantime I'm pleased to report that 95% of the dizziness has gone due to the exercise. It's good to be able to look down into a viewfinder without feeling as if you've done a double flip into the air and back down again followed by a triple salko with loop when landing ;-)

My favourite mug at my favourite desk ;)

Enough calm already. It's time to panic.

A gift from my beloved husband, @ElGris.

The 2nd annual QUEERBOMB, queerbomb.org/ , was another great time! This year it started at the East Side Drive In on East 6th street and proceeded West on 6th street to Congress, North to 7th street and then back East back to the East Side Drive In. Everyone had fun and the marching bands played their hearts out to keep everyone on beat.

My classroom - decorated for me, as a surprise, by Micky. Thank you...

Some recession-busting inspiration for the students!

Found here.

Day 2 and after a night in Bristol I was up early to have a look around Bath again. I have photos of Bath but in my opinion not enough. This Christmas market was more of an arty one but even so the Gluhwein was nice!

Trying to create a positive attitude towards Aspergers syndrome When all else fails and your stuck on a puzzle, a question, even a dilemma ask a person with Asperger syndrome and you will be surprised just how intelligent we are. An aspie is one who has Asperger's Syndrome, which is believed to be part of the autism spectrum. Aspies, while being quite gifted verbally, have social, emotional, and sensory integration difficulties, among others. Aspie is an affectionate term, and is not meant as a put down. Use this t-shirt to promote awareness of autism. I designed this t-shirt to draw the attention how intelligent Aspies are. (Aspie. n. a person with Asperger Syndrome. Asperger syndrome (AS) is a neuro-biological communication disorder affecting key aspects of social awareness and interaction, language usage and sensory integration.)
