Photo taken at Sanur Beach, Eastern Bali

Kayu Putih Beach is the local beach for us when we stay at the Mayaloka Villas in Seminyak, Bali. Not exactly a pristine Perth beach but it is known for its sunsets.
We visited Bali in October 2018.

A Grey Crowned Crane near Seletar Airbase.
The Grey Crowned Crane is not a native bird of Singapore, but of Africa. There are a pair of escapees which forage in the fields around or near Seletar Airbase. A number of years ago, this pair somehow escaped from an "animal farm" somewhere in Jalan Kayu. I'm very happy that they had gain their freedom and doing well here, in a foreign land.
Update: A few years after their escape, one of the Grey Crowned Cranes went missing and presumably dead.
